HISTORY; Alex was born on a large horse ranch in Oklahoma. She started riding by the time she was two and had her first pony when she was four. This girl was a natural at the horse spot, but it wasn't any surprise, considering her parents were two very well known cutting and reining trainers. Alex took a passion toward the reining sport, even though the cattle work kept her busy, the sliding stops and crazy fast spins amazed her. She grew up, being an only child, she got what she needed, but never begged like more children would. She thought that she had more than enough to live and she didn't need any of those electronics. She had horses to keep her busy. When she was in about fifth grade, she got her very first reining horse and started showing the circuit. She loved it and she would never leave it. When Alex turned about sixteen, her parents were having problems and one night, her father took a ride that would claim his life. Now, she had a set back to deal with. Alex shut out the rest of the world, hardly talking and only staying with her horse out in the barn. She got through high school, but her mother was afraid that Alex was going to do something stupid and ruin her great talent. So, her mother bought a young colt, with no training what so ever. It was the best birthday present Alex had ever had. The colt made a light bulb pop up over her head, pulling her out of the deep end.
